Well here it is - the next level in multiplayer! We've been working hard to put this together for pilots from all four of the member VA's and I'm really looking forward to meeting and flying with everyone. Look around, get comfortable, put your feet up I think Milt has some virtual cold ones in the fridge. My name is Dan Morand. I'm 40 years old and live in Ottawa, Canada. I've been a pilot with Timberwolf for a number of years now and currently oversee the helo operations and act as the multiplayer coordinator. I think I've flown most everything at least once by now. Might not be the typical FS bush pilot because I still love flying the business and commuter jets too. Of course that's the great thing about our hobby - it brings people of all interests together. I'm still working slowly toward my PPL (where's all the government grant money when you need it?) Once again, welcome aboard. You've got a great staff taking care of you and putting together some excellent flights. We are not going to replace any VA's regular multiplayer schedule as these group flights are one weekend a month. But we do hope to see you back here for a visit in between those flights. Since Virtual Flight Group is really just an extension of all four airlines, you can definitely call this "Home" too. If I can help getting you oriented or answering any questions, feel free to send me a personal message or better yet post something here. Dan Morand TWF113

Good turnout so far; we may have to find a bigger server Nice to see everyone coming over to sign up, I don't think you'll be disappointed. The first flight is two sessions - Sept. 10th and a repeat Sept. 11th. We're in the process of announcing this on the flightsim sites and forums (here's the press release.) It will be about two weeks before you see flight details posted because we anticipate more traffic through here as word gets around, some from inactive pilots, some from new people who want to join a VA. In the meantime feel free to post new topics, and get to know guys from the other VA's - after all, we're going to be flying together. If you have Teamspeak installed and working and no sim issues to work out you've done all you need to for now. Keep an eye on the TWA forum and over here; we'll be ready for takeoff before you know it. (BTW-our own TWA multiplayer schedule's on hold until this thing launches but that doesn't mean you can't put one together this weekend or next.)

Well HOWDY, as the saying goes. I'm one of the Alaskan Winds groupies, deKe by name (short for deKoven); I'm the one who still hasn't learned how to set the plane down in one piece. I keep Crashes off! Heh heh heh!
Been doin' most of my flights down FS Economy way; bought me a plane and the business is rolling in.

And the FAA is none the wiser . Good to meet you deKe, you'll get to practice that landing technique in short order in front of dozens of admiring (horrified?) pilots. Haven't flown at FS Economy but I really like the whole concept.

Oh well, ya know, the AW buds can already attest to the, ahem, efficiency, yeah, that's the word, at getting the plane on the ground.
I've too much of a tendency to come in really hot and haven't learned how to kill speed; especially on those deep in the hole fields.
At least at FSE I get paid for those er, controlled crashes!

Nice to meet you deKe I hope to see one of your landings real soon I fly with Timberwolf and do admit to enjoying flying Slippery Business Jets as well as the Bushies
Dan, Excellent Press Release, I think all our VA's are going to get busy. The two day roll out is a top plan, I may have to be crook on the Monday and fly twice, we should try and get in a prelaunch MP just to check the radios etc Oh yea and Drink Milts Beer before the crowds arrive!
Cheers

I'm afraid I beat you to the punch on Milt's beer There are no plans for an open "test" session but your humble VFG staff will probably run a quick MP to make sure there are no issues. I'll keep that jet habit in mind when we plan out the Timberwolf MP's; I suffer from the same affliction

Just got signed up and looking forward to online flights. My name is Bob located in Tulsa Okalhoma. Been flying flight sims online for quite a few yrs and have surely done my fair share of gear bending, wing snapping, and runway bounces.
